St John’s Catholic Church of Antioch
St. John’s Catholic Church of Antioch is a dynamic community advancing the marriage of Catholic liturgical traditions with progressive values, under the guidance of Fr. Ronald Catherson. St. John’s meets for worship every Sunday at 10:15 a.m. in the southeast chapel at First Christian Church.

Mesilla Valley Big Band
The Mesilla Valley Big Band, part of Mesilla Valley Jazz and Blues Society meets to rehearse here.
Mesilla Valley Jazz and Blues Society meets on the third Sunday of each month at Alma D’Arte to promote the appreciation of Jazz and Blues art forms and to create increased opportunities for established and aspiring musicians.

Backyard Farms
Backyard Farms is a unique farm model that encompasses a network of small farm plots including urban farming throughout the City of Las Cruces and more traditional farm plots across Doña Ana County in southern New Mexico to produce healthy local food.

Singing Out Las Cruces
Singing Out Las Cruces is New Mexico’s first, and so far, only LGBTQIA2S+ Mixed Voice Choir.
MISSION:
Singing Out Las Cruces (SOLC) is a mixed voice, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally/friends non-profit organization that performs choral works for the appreciation, inspiration, and education of our community. SOLC is an active member of GALA Choruses.
VISION:
Using the power of music to entertain, heal, inspire, SOLC gives voice to our community and strives for a society where all people are respected and appreciated.
COMMITMENT:
Singing Out Las Cruces is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful space where everyone can make and enjoy music together. We are committed to supporting and helping promote the growth and success of ourselves and our fellow LGBTQIA+ organizations and organizations committed to social justice for all in the Las Cruces and surrounding areas.
