Contemplative Worship Service

In our rapidly moving world, we are accosted by noise on all sides. Advertising, politics, traffic; even in the quiet of our own homes we can sometimes be inundated by sound from the television.

Silence can be hard to find. And yet, it is in silence, that the heart communes with our Creator.

Contemplative prayer allows us to come to know and experience God’s unconditional love and be transformed by it, and then, in turn, grow in our love of God.

At First Christian Church in Las Cruces, we join together for a Contemplative Prayer Service on the first Sunday of each month at 6:30 pm in our Chapel.
